The 2nd Annual Young Irish Musicians' Weekend has been scheduled for June 20-22.. While targeted at intermediate (or better) musicians under 25, they have added some classes for beginners this year. And there is additional programming to entertain the adults who come along with their kids.
They've got an information page with lots of details, including a listing of their very distinguished faculty. Last year's event was terrific, and we've little doubt this one will be even better.
We have scheduled our annual Weekend in Winona at the University of St. Mary's the weekend of July 11-13.
A little patience . . . we're still recovering from April! Later in May we'll have information about the workshop and registration materials available.
The April GaelMinn Gazette went out on schedule, and if you don't subscribe, you can read the latest issue here.
Meanwhile, we are slowly building a fire under the May edition of An Gaeilgeoir, but it will take a little while to build up enough steam to get that one done.
We have scheduled our four-week introductory class through St. Paul Community Education, starting in September. This class will allow you to join our regular Monday evening classes.
We'll have information here, of course, in The GaelMinn Gazette, and you'll also see the course listed in your Community Education catalogue. (For more about Community Education, open to everyone -- you don't have to live in St. Paul -- visit our Community Ed page.)
