Site newsAvailable CoursesThis exercise uses short, branching stories, in Irish, to reveal weaknesses in your grammar. The first section of the "course" explains the concept and gives you practice examples (in English). These story-tests are simple, fun, informative, and don't require a highly advanced command of Irish. This course is open to guests, you don't need a "key" to participate. This "course" contains supporting information and tools related to the our Spring, 2008 work, which is focused on Munster and the Blasket Island memoirs. I have set this for my students only for now, mainly because I don't want complete strangers messing with the translation activities. However, if you are one of our regular Monday students and would like access to my online units, just drop me a line and I'll give you access. This would be a concise and interesting paragraph to explain what this course is about, if I could be interestingly concise. Course categories |

Will's NewsThere are now two dictation exercises in my "Spring 08" course, one that we already did (Ó Ríordáin's poem) on April 28, and the other, a preview of some dictation from Peig that I hope to tackle on May 5, so this gives you a chance to get ahead on the dictation.
In other news, the wiki activity doesn't seem to be generating any activity, so I may think about dumping that . . . |
